On 16 November 2023, Maître Thibault CHEVRIER, lawyer at the Luxembourg Bar and partner at CHEVRIER & FAVARI, will be speaking at a conference organised by the Luxembourgish Association for the Environnement’s Law (ALDE) and the University of Luxembourg on the subject of “Presentation and analysis of the decisions on the lifting of the ban on glyphosate in Luxembourg“.

This presentation will focus on the Administrative Court’s ruling of 15 July 2022 which annulled the decisions to withdraw marketing authorisations for products containing glyphosate, a decision that was confirmed by a ruling of the Administrative Appeal Court on 30 March 2023.

Prior to a presentation by Ms Alessandra DONATI, Référandaire at the Court of the Justice of the European Union, who will discuss the European law angle, Thibault CHEVRIER will analyse Luxembourg aspects, in particular the issues of compliance with the adversarial principle and the obligation to give motives for administrative decisions.
